Over the last several years we’ve used M’Cheyne daily reading plan, a couple chronological plans,
a general overview of each book, and a Who’s Who of the Bible. This year we have another yearlong Bible reading plan that will take us through the books and letters as they were received by those who first read them long ago.
In this plan, the order of the Old Testament readings is very similar to Israel’s Hebrew Bible, progressing from Law to Prophets to Writings. The New Testament ordering is based upon research regarding the order in which the books were authored. Although this research is not conclusive, it may offer helpful insights to your Bible reading.
Regardless.... we pray that you will commit to reading through the Bible this year. We pray that through the daily study of the Word of God you will hear his call to faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and daily commit to serve God.
The first two days of May are "makeup" days.
