Rotation Model Sunday School (Kindergarten-5th Grade) Children K-5th grade explore Bible stories and themes in various ways that help the stories come to life. Each month's theme verse or concept is presented in one of our 5 rotations: Learning Temple, Craft Corner, Sunday Cinema, Bethlehem Bakery, or The Church Mouse. Learn what each rotation involves below.
May's Theme: Good Shepherd Theme Verse: Psalm 23 Theme Concept: God provides for our needs even when we don't understand.
In the Learning Temple, children read or hear the theme story, participate in hands on activities that bring concepts to life and learn real life application for living for God's glory.
The children learn basic cooking skills as they engage in activities that bring the sense of taste into their understanding of the Bible story. Whether tasting a food mentioned in the story, or preparing a food craft that reminds them of an aspect of the story, the Bethlehem Bakery is one of our most popular rotations.

Preschool Sunday School (3-5 year olds)

that will provide your youngest children with a safe and enjoyable Sunday School hour. Our nursery is also available during both worship services. Children engage in Godly play and can enjoy the music of the Praise Baby Collection.

In
the Craft Corner, children will use their creativity to make a
visual reminder of the theme story or concept. Sometimes the
craft can be taken home, other times the class will work together to
create something to place in the church as a reminder to everyone of
God's Word.
The
Sunday Cinema is a rotation for learning Biblical stories and
concepts through audio/visual presentation. For many children,
seeing the stories played out on screen helps them imagine how the
concepts can play out in real life.
In
the Church Mouse, children use interactive software to explore
Biblical themes.
Our Preschool students use
"The Story for Little Ones" Curriculum which helps children learn 31
essential Bible stories in age appropriate ways. Along with
the Bible story, children are taught a Bible point, such as "Abraham
trusted God, and you can trust God too!" Children are also
given a snack and time to engage in Godly play, as an opportunity to
use their imagination in bringing their new lessons to life.
